About IS/CMS
CMS began in 1998. By early 1999, a preliminary project plan was completed and the project was underway. The first eleven campuses went live on Human Resources and Financials on June 2001. Currently, all 23 campuses, plus the Chancellor's Office (CO) are live on Human Resources; 22 campuses, plus the CO are live on Financials; and 21 campuses are live on Student Administration. In addition, under the direction of Operations Support Services, the goal of an outsourced data center has been met and successfully supports all CMS Central and campus work.
